A two-player abstract board game predominantly from the Central Province of India, Egara Guti consists of 2 triangles connected in a common vertex where each player gets an army of 11 soldiers. The game resembles the strategy game of Checkers.
Each player takes alternative turns to move their piece. As a player takes leaps on the opponent’s piece, that piece is ‘captured’. A player who captures all of the opponent’s pieces is the winner.
The package consists of a beautiful silk-embroidered game board, 22 (11+11) pawns, and the instruction leaflet.
